Dick passed in Feb. 2014 from pancreatic cancer.  Professionally he was systems analyst working for a number of corporations over his 40 years.  He retired from VWCredit in 2011.  I think he enjoyed that group the most just because it is linked to cars.  He enjoyed motorcycling and has left me with 2 Buells, a Suzuki and a 1985 Corvette.  His love of the V8 never left his system.  I remember the Olds Starfire covnertible that he loved to drive.  Dick enjoyed Giant Schnauzers and over the years we had 4.  The summer before he died he researched and found one more in Indiana.  We bought an 8 week old male puppy that drags me around the block now.  I knew we needed something smaller but I think Dick wanted me to have one more big protector. After college Dick served as a staff sergeant in Viet Nam for a year,  He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his service.  I know I was fortunate to have him return with his arms, legs, and brain working. His family misses him so very much.  Dick had a daughter Alyssa who has 2 girls and a son, Morgan, who has 1 daughter.
