Karen and I were good friends from grade school and then through high school. I had lost track of her once we graduated and was really upset to learn she was on the In Memory list at one of the class reunions. I was able to find out through Karen's housekeeper (her mother had died when she was very young), that Karen died in California while hiking in the moutains. She fell and hit her head and passed away. I don't remember what year it was, but I know that much. We will miss you, Karen.
