Karla J. Jensen (Wojtecki)

Karla J. JENSEN Wojtecki, 79, of Kansasville passed away, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on October 8, 1946 to the late Knute Waldemar, and Irene Christine Marie (Heide) Jensen in Kenosha.  She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.

On June 25, 1965, Karla married Thomas George Wojtecki in Kenosha.  He preceded her in death on September 12, 1997.  Karla was a supportive wife and mother through her husband, Tom's, short battle with cancer.

Karla was a homemaker  She was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Kenosha, and enjoyed watching her Sunday sermons, and reading her devotions.  

Karla grew up with a love of horseback riding which became a part of her livelihood.  She loved flowers, all animals, and opened up her house to animals and birds in need.  She was always helping people and gave like no other.  Karla would say, "Give it to God" and "You have to continue having Hope."  Karla prioritized others before herself.  She loved spending time with her sisters, having meals with her grandchildren, and taking Sunday drives along Lake Michigan.

Karla is survived by her children, Christian (Rebecca) Wojtecki and Erin Konicke; grandchildren Jacob, Tristen, Norah, Lillium, Jacob and Jordan, her sisters; Kirsten Miller, Sonja (Scott) Sinclair-Skogstad, Grete M. (Dennis) Parkinson.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Celebration of life for Karla will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12 pm (Noon) at Bruch -Hansen Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 am until the time of service.  Memorials would be appreciated to Kindred Kitties or the Racine Humane Society.
