Pat J. Koerth (Welter)

Patricia "Pat" J.  KOERTH Welter of Kenosha , passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Froederet South St. Catherine's Hospital.

She was born on November 28, 1946 to the late Harold and Rachel (Howell) Koerth in Baraboo, WI.  She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford.  

On April 6, 1974, she married Eugene J. Welter at St. Mark's Catholic Church.  He preceded her in death on November 16, 2023.

Pat first worked as a librarian for the Kenosha Public Library and the Book Mobile from 1965 to 1975.  After having her childen, Pat worked as a teacher's aid and kitchen help at St. Thomas Catholic School while her children were attending there.  She then worked in data entry at Jockey International for 30 years.

Pat was a Girl and Boy Scout leader, enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and was an avid reader.  Pat had a great sense of humor, was a kind-hearted woman, and a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

Pat is survived by her son, Brian Welter; her daughter, JoAnn Fish; her granddaughter, Arilyn; her sister, Linda (Harold) Sikorski; and her brother, Rick (Evo) Koerth.

Graveside Services for Pat will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10 am at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Chapel (4300 Green Bay Road).

It's always sad to read that another of our classmates has passed away.  I remember Patsy as just a sweet, kind girl with a loving smile.  She will certainly be missed by her family and those she served.  May she rest in peace.
