Ronald Taffora, age 78, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Anacleto and Edith (Barengo) Taffora.  Ron attended Washington Junior High School and graduated from Bradford High School.

On October 11, 1969, he was united in marriage to Cynthia Laudonio in Kenosha, WI.

Ron Proudly served his country as a PFC in the U.S. Army.

He was employed as a Liquor Salesman for Edison/Wirtz Beverage until his retirement in 2013.

Ron was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church.  In addition, he was also a member of the National Hot Rod Association.

Ron was a standout high school athlete in football and track and field; he played for the Kenosha City Softball League for Tirabassi.  Ron loved sports, specifically watching his children and granchildren.  He was a competitive bike racer at Washington Bowl.  He enjoyed dancing, sport cars and hot rods.

Ron is survivied by his loving wife of 54 years; his children, Lisa (Todd) Elsen and Brian (Kelli) Taffora; his grandchildren, Anthony (Megan) and Nicholas Elsen and Brylie, Brock and Brynn Taffora and his great -grandchild, Colson Elsen, and his brother, Raymond Taffora.  In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Violet Taffora.
