Notice was recently received of the passing of Lynn WENDORF Groves on July 12, 2024.  No services were scheduled. No further information was provided.

Lynn L. Groves, passed away on July 12, 2024 at Advent Hospital in Tampa, FL from a short illness.  Born in Kenosha, WI on March 21, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Linda Wendorf. She had one brother, Neil Wendorf, who preceded her in death. 

Lynn attended grade school at Bethany Lutheran elementary, middle school at Lincoln Junior High where she was an honor student and cheerleader.  She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1964 where she was an honor student as well a member of the competitive Trident Swim Team.

In 1965, she completed her training in radiology at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee as an x-ray technician. She was employed for many years at Kenosha Memorial Hospital as well as several doctors' offices and physicians' clinics.

On June 7, 1969, she married Paul Groves.  They were blessed with 55 years of a very happy marriage.  They had two children, Jennifer and Jeff.

Lynn was a religious person and, without doubt, has already found her favorite 'lake in the sky' and is swimming with the angels and taking her place near the right hand of God.
