It's funny how fun-loving memories from the past never seem to fade away...and I'm so glad those of Arlyn have stayed with me 60+ years. We had an easy, fun school friendship while at MDB. We had several classes together and oftentimes would spend our lunch hours at the pool hall a couple blocks away. After our meal, we'd work in a couple games and scoot back just in time for our next class.
If my memory serves me correctly, Arlyn lived on a farm, and what I will never forget and will always respect is his strong work ethic and his exceptional degree of common sense! Both qualities seemed so natural to him. Both seemed to define his character.
Rest In Peace my dear friend. Thank you for the fun experiences that now seem so fleeting. Please know you will always rest comfortably in my memories.
