Bonnie Lee Doctor Grissom, 59, died at her home on June 14, 2006. Bonnie graduated cum laude from UW-Parkside in 1985 with a degree in communications. Bonnie worked as a Dental Technician Secretary, Director of Parkside Child Care Center, and Human Resource Director. Married to Gary Grissom in 1965 and had three children.

Bonnie and my wife (Sheila Eucalano), were first cousins, and growing up, they were more like sisters. When Sheila told Bonnie that we were dating, Bonnie's reaction was something like, " OH, I know him, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." I can only hope that some of the blahs were good.
Bonnie died in June of 2006, after a six year battle with cancer. She may have been the most courageous person I have ever known, as she volunteered to participate in every clinical study with each new experimental drug or approach available. She was not going down without a fight. A very tough loss for both of us. So many great memories filled with laughter and good food!!!!

I remember Bonnie from Junior High. She invited me to her birthday party at Wells Brothers. She really was good person,a class act.
