The following received from Jerry Parker.   "I was in the class of 1963 and sad to see Joy Tower's name on the memory list with no comments.  If someone remembers you in your heart, your're really not gone".

I remember Joy in aschool classes but did not know her well.  Years later I remembered how much I loved her name and sweet personality.  I named our fourth child Jessica Joy in 1983.  To those who asked how I chose the beautiful name, I mentioned the girl named Joy I knew in high school.

I remember Joy from classes and general activities in high school although we never close friends. I remember her as a gal that seem so easy to know and be comfortable around.  So sorry to lose any of our class mates.

I"m surprised to see Joy's name on this list also.  I didn't know Joy in school, but we connected after we got out and we both worked at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.  We used to ride together every day.  I'm sorry to see this.  I had no idea.  Joy was always just what her name implied.  We became good friends, but lost touch with each other once I left Great Lakes.  My condolences to her family.

Went to grade school (Columbus) with Joy, we all had good times then.  Lost contact after grade school.  Sorry to hear that she passed.  Ruth (Grove) O'Hanlon
