Roger died of a heart attack around 2005. He was partners in Palmen Motors and after his brother Ron died he left the dealership and bought the Chevrolet Dealership in Union Grove, WI. He was a very charitable and generous man. Rest in peace Roger
I have such fond memories of Ron and Roger, and it is so disturbing they lost their lives so early. We lived across from their service station for 13 years, and all the neighborhood kids knew and liked all the Palmens. As kids were just a big neighborhood family....
The Palmen family went to our church..Roger's mom and my mom were great friends..They grocery shopped together every week..then had coffee in our kitchen..Roger was a close childhood friend..he took me fishing off the Pier at Southport..we went to Subdeb together ...I saw him last at the 40th reunion..both of our mom's are gone now.. I guess the rest is just "history"..RIP Roger..you and your Tuba..Roger travel the world playing the Tuba in the army band
