Cynthia Holderness (Lichter)

Cynthia Ann Holderness Lichter of Franklin, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2020 with her daughters by her side after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Cindy received her Bachelor's Degree from Carthage College and M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management.  Cindy was the Director of Patient Business Services for United Healthcare Systems in Kenosha until 1990 and moved to a similar position at ProHealth Care in Waukesha, WI until her retirement in 2008.  She was past President and Board Member of the WI Medical Credit Association and a past Board Member of the Health Financial Management Association-Wisconsin Chapter.  She volunteerd at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Franklin following her retirement.  

She is survived by her daughters, Julie Lichter and Beth Walsh, her companion of over 36 years, Jerry Ruffolo, her three grandchilden, and her siblings, Frank Holderness, Pat Oberest and Pam Holderness.

A private graveside service and inurnment will take place in Green Ridge Cemetery, Kenosha.  A Celebration of Cindy's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Hospice Alliance 10220 Praire Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI  53158 or the American Cancer Society, N19W24350 River Wood Drive, Waukesha, WI  53188 would be appreciated..

It is with deepest sympathy that another classmate from 1964 has passed. I wish her family and children the very hope that they are all well and I know what it means when a spouse passes. Be greatful she is in a better life and will have always looking after here.

Cindy and I went to McKinnley together and then were in French class/club with Mme. Wilson.  So sorry to hear of her passing and pray God's peace and comfort for her family.
